the section does not give options (i.e initialise)

Oops! then select initialation. it does not give options. Should say press red button.
Or
if press "ok" the next screen does not give option either.

on the screenshot dsayer posted i.e the initial menu, pressing any of the coloured buttons doesn't do anything so no buttons required on that screen. initialisation screen I will look into.

now i see what you mean i'm sure it was skinned before always use screenshots it makes it clearer what your refering to

another one would be the openvpn setup in network menu i don't use it anymore but others may
 
I am currently trudging through the network screens, it is the bulk of what is left. There is sh!t loads of them.
 
the thing with the network screens is that if you did use them they would only use it once not like the other pages that get used on a regular basis
 
I love your work kiddac. And like the way you work a bit like me my motto is if ya gonna do something do it right its makes all the difference in making your skin the best! Un-finished screens is an un-finished skin. Thanks mate and keep up the great work! Anything i can do to help let me know.
 
The only thing I want people to do now is... (waffle to your hearts content - except don't make me mad by mentioning EPG tabs)

After that I am done. Therefore now is the time to fully test your skin. Test every page. Test every menu, Test every option. Go through the motions of everything you use. There are propably screens you have used that I don't even know exist. Do scans, do updates, do backups, do downloads. I need to know what is broke (screenshots required). I need to know what in your opinion isn't skinned (screenshots required). I need to know what popular plugins you use that I might be able to skin.

EDIT: Am pritty sure but will check the record icons were out of line but will check this fully tonight with screenshots
 
some things I have no control over. Some menus don't automatically add padding. Most Icons in a list I have no control over there position. In most of the screens you just bring in a list item. This list item brings in both the icons and text as one. Therefore I cannot adjust them. Where available I have aligned icons. If the screens are skinned and the icons are slightly out of place, there is nothing I can do about it without writing custom python scripts to override it. I do not have the skill or knowledge of how to do that.
 
Ok ill take screens later and let ya know could padding be added to the icon itself? Just an idea i can soon try this out for ya ill have a play later on m8
 
no some components have built in tags like iconmargin="5" itemheight="36" that you can set. Others don't have this programmed into the component, so there is no way to control them with out overriding the intial (badly written) code with some script.
 
One more thing from me - when you press TV on the epg to choose a bouquet- the list looks like it has too many rows and the font is small, any way it can be tweaked? Not major, just bugs me a bit! I'm just nit picking though!
 
post #520 has all the correct settings you need to change for each screen. press the menu button on a particular screen or go through the setup menus.
