Another thing I've noticed on vix kiddac when you delete a recording text comes up next to the remaining disk space font telling you it's deleting the named recording, this text is obscured by the remaining disk space font and is cut off,
I would screenshot it but it quite hard to grab!

Just realised you finished testing vix yesterday! Haven't been here for the last couple of days have only just seen 1.8 has been released, guess I was too late with this info.

Which option in the epg menu was it to get rid of the extra text showing underneath the programme name? Seen it I'm sure but can't remember, on open atv by the way. uploadfromtaptalk1447874018453.jpg

Just playing with you all again to get reactions. The large epg has now been put back to 12 rows and this cant be changed via the menus. Who prefers the 12 rows and who prefers it to pick up the number of rows from the smaller epg.

I also havent finished testing on vix. Tonight i have been looking through vixs default skin to see what is in there that i havent skinned or haven't found. Some i haven't got a clue where they are or what they do, but i can work out how the default skin screens fit into my templates. So some elements i am just skinning blind
 
Thanks for your work. I was able to install the latest skin by not deleting the previous version.
Ts panel/file explorer/udd/(pick up the skin folder on the usb and install.)

the only reason I suggest to complete uninstall coz a few of the updates I messed up my version numbers. i.e 1.72 ended up 172. therefore 1.73 will not overwrite 172. etc
Just try a normal package install. if it fails then try deleting the skin and then all should be good.
 
Noticed last night (openATV) if you press the EPG button then the TEXT button it brings up a window with 2 lines, top line date, second time, you can scroll through both and press green for OK, but it doesn't seem to do anything, you noticed this screen before? (in work so cant do screen grab)
 
is it possible to have any series linked recordings with the same file name in a folder. Would make searching recording easier.

I've just checked mine on vix it's the same I didn't notice that before it would be good to get it working as it would be easier to go to specific dates ill check the default skin later to see what it does
 
I know this thread is now very very long but are you aware there is a thread search option at the top of each thread.

So before people keep repeating the same questions over and over try the the search thread option first. Ta

It doesn't do anything on default skin either thanks for the search thread option I didn't know that exists

I deleted from plugins, (portal-red button-skins-remove) assigned a different skin temporarily, then FTP and extracted the .apk, then re-set the skin to Kiddac's 1.8 - worked fine.

I didn't want it as a sticky I will have to have words... because in a few days time this skin is going to be finished and this thread is full of waffle. It needs a new one.

Looking at the code of this It is obviously meant to list all programmes for that time and date i think. Maybe it does on older boxes but we have multiple epg screens now. I have skinned it anyway.
