i'll happily volunteer could you put the files in your drop box? when you say the choice box is off screen do you mean as in it gets cuts off so you can't see the whole box?
reason i ask is with the image i'm using my epg is set up exactly like that minus the epg tabs, so i press red and the option box appears, this box is never off screen for me and appears next to the program i'm highlighting.

i know why it's happening I just don't know how to fix it. The choicebox by default resizes and centers itself to the screen. In the EPG it seems to be doing this then realigning it to the which ever highlighted program. Which makes sense. But the box is just too big. If I resize it it might break other screens that use a choicebox.
 
it's probably just cause i have a small channel list and larger time scale on my epg.
People will just have to tweak the channel size row and time scale until it fits.
 
i believe its a modified file EpgSelection.pyo which changes the colour buttons to options,recordings and + - 24 hours.
 
Yes but my epg screen doesn't have the same options at the bottom

instructions are now in my folder. Just need to upload the new skin now which is needed for this hack.

graphics included for use with epg tabs - so you can now all stop fecking asking for it.
positioner-setup - redone (hopefully correctly this time)
I also changed the text on event view to be more of a summary so fits in the box better.

right, was there any other tweaks that people were asking for that I haven't covered in my skin extras folder. From the top of my head that is it. Apart from the crazy person that wanted black bars cutting the top and bottom of the tv off, no matter what format the picture. That isn't going to happen.
 
kiddac is it the py or pyo file that need deleting? looking at your instructions its saying delete pyo and upload py, but that would completely get rid of the pyo file and overite the existing py?
 
pyo is just a compressed version of the py. On reboot it remakes the compressed pyo.

It is confusing this as different builds are different. basically you need to delete epgselection.py and epgselection.pyo if they exist and then upload the new version.
 
the tabs are hack in my skin extras folder on my dropbox. I am not putting them in my skin. It's up to you.
