For you just ftp the ipk to tmp following kiddacs guide my comment was for johnjohns who has added the extra files and wants to use his update on other boxes rather than installing the update and re adding the files
 
So now my skin is finished, I see the eager beavers (ok the same 3 ones) posting my IPK and skin extras on various forums and twitter and then trying to answer badly a load of questions related to it. Good luck. It would have been nice to post it on various forums myself and promote my own skin and to get the feedback and the praise, but thanks to these people there is no point now. So big pat on the backs to you. Well done. Bravo... and thanks for for having the courtesy of asking me (naat). Stick with techkings people, you will get your answers from the horses mouth, or from people who have been here from the beginning and know my skin as well as me.

sorry kiddac i have just done the same but mentioned your name as the author i couldn't help it i want as many people trying your perfect skin i will take it down if you wish
 
..and as been proven over the last week or so. There have been 3 minor updates since I said the skin was finished. So people are not doing me favors by posting IPKs that still might have bugs in. If I thought it was 100% finished it would be promoted everywhere.

Dsayer, you have followed the progress of this skin, you have been very very generous with your beer tokens, you have enough knowledge to share this. One person (he knows who he is), slates my skin before it's finished and starts waffling a load of nonsense about it then ironically uploads the finished skin himself on another forum. People like that just get on my nerves. Forum glory hunters.
 
unfortunately you can't stop your work getting shared about kiddac but if your gunna share it at least have the decency to credit and give reference to where it come from in the first place!
Some of us here know the hard work that went into this over that 3 month period pal and have got the respect to leave the skin at techkings and give credit to the man himself.
 
Actually everywhere I have seen it I have been rightly credited. But obviously lots of places are not mentioning this thread on TK which has mountains of advice in it, or my URL. Obviously its going to get round the forums. Coz its fecking mint ;) but a little patience or even a quick PM is all that is needed.
 
i did put a link to your dropbox account for your last version v.2 but for the latest version v2.003 i uploaded the skin folder already with epglistexml added so all they had to do was add the EPGSelection.py to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens as i did with someone in the h2 section in here that was havin issues with installing ipk from post 1189
 
Just finished my boxes, started from scratch with kiddac guide how to set up a Zgemma 2S from scratch using the latest openatv files then added the slyk 1hd skin, changed the epg to the scrolling tabs and everything is working great. Thanks again kiddac it's been an education following the updates on this forum.
