Thanks for all the positive comments. I am leaving the channel select description text as it is. I use xmltvimporter which brings in a lot of text, so its perfect for my needs. Feel free to hack it if you want.

Message box cutting off text fixed.
Info Panel now skinned
Softcam screens now skinned
Volume adjust menu now skinned.
Info Panel Infos now skinned with new IBM retro console font
Location box now skinned.
A few more of the mini icons have now been redesigned.
And maybe a few other things I have forgotten about.
skin setup - now skinned :)

Sorry never got round to doing the movie player yet.

Basically I am just trudging through all the menus in sequence at the moment.

Kiddac just updated to your latest version and now my boot is stuck at 58:fear:

For now see if you can ftp it and remove it and switch off and on this should load the default image

sorry... don't download, we seem to have a problem. I just tried the package myself and it's stuck on 59. I will see if I can fix this without a reflash.

Weird boots up and works ok on Vix4e2 image

kiddac i checked the log file and have the following error
"20:53:42.969 < > gdi/font.cpp:159 AddFont adding font /usr/share/enigma2/slyk-1-hd/fonts/SkyFinalRegular.ttf... failed: Operation not permitted"

i know why, I changed the bloody name of the skin to be uppercase. i.e SLYK-1-HD. When their is absolute references in the files looking for slyk-1-hd.

should be a quick fix. bare with me.

Ah explains why it works ok for me, i extracted the ipk file and copied all the files inside the SLYK-1-HD folder into the slyk-1-hd already on box

Download version 1.4. Should all be good now.

(and if any one got stuck on a boot loop with version 1.3 just delete my SLYK-1-HD folder and start again )

you have a pic of the skinned softcam screen kiddac? still the same on vix, must be a different screen

cccam\oscam info screens are as above, but softcam defaults to box default, ill have a look through the files

Thanks for the effort you put into it. I believe your efforts would be appreciated by all progressive minds.
I did am loving it. Just trying to figure out the parental issue.

to set something to parental, turn it on in the menus then go to channel select (tv button) and press menu button on a bouquet or channel. You will then get the option to add parental control to it.

just noticed one thing when rebooting box it goes from 00 to 99 twice but on fraggles which i just tried it only does it once

Mine just counts once.
