ahh okk :) i rebooted the box to see if it fixed in and on restart my channels are gone and my servers showing red , and with the lads here to watch the football . i should have just stayed in bed. lol

I have now skinned the movie list page. And although it very much looks like the rest of the pages, it was a nightmare. First of all I had a bug in my code for this screen that was wiping out all the other elements on the page. For the life of me I couldn't find it only about an hour later realised I had missed the size property out of one of the elements. Doh.

Then the stupid things brings in 20 rows of items by default. For hours i tried various different ways to override this, but failed. So for now there is some tiny little helper text in the bottom of the screen telling you to change the number of rows to 8 in the menu settings.

I haven't skinned anything other than this page. So the movie players,seekbar and movie settings etc are still default.

If anyone is on openatv you need to turn off Enhanced Movie Centre in Plugins as that is the default movie player on openatv.

Movie Selector skinned

(I recommend everyone with my skin upgrades to this version as there was a bug in the previous version. Do a full package install, do not copy over individual elements, all is named different now)

Ps I have been messing around renaming some of my templates, so the odd screen might be slightly skewiff. Let me know if you find something that looks wrong on a skinned page.

Looking forward to the skinning of the rest of the movie playback stuff. This skin is unbelievably great. I used to use 12 rows, I will have to use 8 now

Is there a way I can make an adjustment to the background to allow me to use 12 rows?

Anyways, I thought I would point out the small things I have noticed, don't know if others have... the bottom is cut off on the Tmers area and AutoTimers area, here are screenshots for you.

Couple of things i have spotted, the display menu has a black background and when you go to install ipk files there is no text on the buttons.

Changing this code to blank or "titleplanner", in movies.xml (and titleepg in epglist.xml) makes the row of sky icons/symbols at the top disappear in both. screenshots:

Also, the No Tuner warning is cut off at bottom

I get the same black background (VIX) as mcgowan41 on the Front panel display menu, but install local ext. buttons have text on them ok

when i goto this page is there any way to remove the "deleted items trashcan" and the "... Directory" so they dont show in the list.... like in the picture it just shows the recordings... managed to just delete the trascan bit but cant figure out how to move or atleast hide the ... Directory folder bit

So to answer a few of the last posts.

screensaver has been included with just the default picon floating around the screen.

bouquet selector on epg fixed

The bottom isn't cut off of timers, there's a scroll bar. Just bloody scroll. (jeez) :damn:

ipk packager screen skinned to fix the button text not appearing. Strangely the default skin has an error in it and brings in the wrong button code.

Display settings screen fixed.

JohnsJohns as far as your edits go, things don't just magically appear. TitleHome and TitleBoxOffice are references to templates I have already designed. You cant just type anything and expect it to appear.

Message box cutting off. I have tried various different methods of trying to fix the message box, everyone brings in its own little problems. The one I am using at the moment seems the best option. If its cutting the bottom of the icon on very small message boxes I can live with that. It's a ****** to get right.

to delete attachments you have posted by mistake... edit post...go...advanced...scroll down...manage attachements.

Justblaze there is one screen in movies.xml at the moment it isn't rocket science. I wonder what these 2 lines of code do.... :damn:

And I am presuming people that record a lot would rather me remove the bar background on movie selector and just have a blank background so you can resize rows and fonts to your choosing. Yes?

Cheers kiddac I've noticed that you've removed the ecm info it's not a major issue I've only used it a thew times when I've had glitches what I did was if the ecms where high I would change to the channel in all channels and they were lower
 
its still there in mine? Its on the second infobar. Have you changed your second info bar settings. OSD settings on openatv
 
No I've just checked and it says show crypto info in infobar two lines. I haven't updated to the one you've just put up yet. sorry i feel like an idiot now i've only just noticed it wasn't showing but just realised i was watching a fta channel :fartlight:alls working fine

Again, we are only doing what you instructed. This time you showed that it is okay to change the coding as shown.
Clearly I am not criticising your work, I am merely pointing out things as you asked us all to point things out that don't look right. The text for those files was also edited following your advice / guidance.

Anyway, I shall leave you to your work.

The editing of the text does exactly what it's meant to do you change TitleBoxOffice to TitleHome so the planner screen reflects this I can't understand why you have lost all the icons along the top did you just delete all that code?

nearly all packages have a unique version number, so should overwrite any existing skin. Just a case of installing IPK, then select as the skin again and reboot.
