I am really tempted to switch this to the other template. With the big box on the left. Tv and description on right. Its going to cause a right load of problems otherwise. Despite helper text being cleary written on the bottom right of the screen, as shown this can be easily missed

@ lincsat the pic is of the hard drive where all recordings are there is no setting for rows. was fine before the last update.

@thomas88 if you press Menu on that screen and go into settings the option of rows on screen is in there, see the small note under the planner Kiddac put in

Hi this is probly a stupid question but if I want to view this skin in an XML viewer do I have to convert it from an ipk file first because at the min I cant seem to open and view it any help or advice appreciated cheers

IPK file is like a zip/rar file. It is a compressed version of the file structure.

you can either extract it with 7zip software. Whuch works exactly like winzip.

or you can install the package and use an ftp client to view/edit/download the extracted files in this location on your box

The planner section's great as it is Kiddac like you say if people follow the instructions then it's absolutely fine personally I'd like to see it stay as it is.

why would you want to do such a crazy thing... bleurgh. Trust my graphic designer skills. blue is better. But you might want to go into settings on this page (menu button) and make it appear in columns instead. Show columns 200 pixels wide.

In fact looking at my code, you can't easily change this. That listing is bringing in a global template for the list. God know what else would be effected if you changed it.

but if you want to faff you need to look for this in main-templates.xml

finish it off???? there's load left to do... Yeah I am tending to do things in sections so I don't get lost. In the next batch I need to slightly amend the movie settings menu, the movie info bar as shown above, and the seek bar if you hold left and right. I will probably skin enhanced movie center to the other template as well, then people have a choice of this one or the other. I am not doing any skinning tonight. I am in a daft mood, so just annoying everyone on the forum instead.

I used your skin on vix before you removed the 2 pages and its working fine should i re install though?
