took a look there mate but I'm on Thomas88 build and can't see the settings. It's only when I press left of right it's too low, the rest are perfect. I see u have realised another update so I'll maybe try it first :)
 
some one on openatv let baz_doc know where the screen position settings are. I am on VIX and the moment and have forgotten where it is in the atv menus.

Keep getting an error when installing the file to my zgemma box, its saying
Collected errors
no such file or directory
failed to extract control file

Has it something to do with this?
How do you make this change or has the file to be extracted, sorry for the silly questions but first time using this box and want to change the skin, installed skin im using is the blue HD
To install ftp the IPK file over to your temp folder. i.e /var/volatile/tmp
 
Well just installed the ipk myself - all seems fine.

Are you following the instructions on page 1.

start a new thread in the forum (i.e installing ipk problem) and I will try and answer you there. As i don't think it's related to my skin, this thread isn't the place for problem solving. It's long enough as it is.

Don't think anyone has tested it on black hole. From what I read black hole is different than all the rest so I don't think it will work. If you are brave enough ;) try it and report back. Obviously this might cause you problems so as a disclaimer please make a backup image of your build and line before doing so.
 
Just a note, Can everyone stop using the @NAME expression here. It doesn't work like Twitter does, and all it will do is place your post in the Moderation queue.

If you want your post to go live instantly, stop using the "@" symbol in your posts.

I am also unable to install the 1.6 ipk file in the same way as i have always done with the previous ipk's (menu>setup>ViX>ipkg-install) on ViX. The ipk is ftp'd to var/volatile/tmp as usual.

When i try to install, i get the console window as normal but no ipk appears saying *upgrading from 1.571 to 1.6* as it usually does. instead it stays blank for about a minute, then a error flashes up really fast which i am unable to read and goes straight to 'Do you want to restart GUI'

after selecting no and doing a reboot, it hasnt taken the new ipk. not sure why it isnt installing
 
Ok i will have a look tonight. Unless the error is being reported in your log files.

oops. I will see if I can get hold of the IPK packager while I am in work. If I can find it again I will repackage.

I will have to sort it this evening then. And have a good nosey to see what i have done this time.
