The problem with the above smudge is you can only bring in the time elapsed or time remaining. This is in the format xx mins.
Because you have to write a text block for "Started" then another block for "xx mins" then another block for "ago". These have to be specifically positioned. With this stupid code you can't just write Started + xx mins + ago.
That is why nobody has done it that way.

So you end up with a spaced out mess.

Started ..1 mins ago
Started .10 mins ago
Started 100 mins ago

or

Started 1 mins.. ago
Started 10 mins. ago
Started 100 mins ago

As for the SNR and Tuner, If you have a stable connection, SNR is irrelevant. It is only relevant when you are having problems with glitching, freezing, black outs.

The tuner is relevant for people that have multi-sats and is also useful if you switched tuners if one is playing up.

here is my latest mockups. Which is preferred tuner details next to icons, or inline with the next program

Hi Kiddac, superb work! But but a few minor changes would be lovely such as instead of EPG on the info bar i think you should write 'Time' and maybe add the blue button on the info bar as favourites just like sly. Thanks for your hard-work and putting time on to it!

It is time on his original one I think those are mockups of old designs and showing the new bits I don't think the blue button would be possible without remapping the buttons in settings on box if you look at your remote there's a favourite button there but it seems to show bouquets unless there's a way to change it.

The coloured buttons do actually exist on the infobar, they are just not shown as we are trying to replicate sly infobar. Buttons are mapped to the same buttons as the original EPG buttons. i.e IMDB / Add Timer / EPG search / Add auto time. I personally can't change this.

My current infobar does have the word 'Time' for the left right arrows, but this is confusing as it isn't scrollable. It is more user friendly if this actually says EPG as this is what appears if < > is pressed.

And to the late comers to this thread. I am not rewriting any code for these boxes. I am not a programmer. All I am doing is providing a skin. That is providing new graphics and layout for EXISTING elements/components.

Ok this is the final coded up infobar with all the amends as suggested. Bigger next programme. Hbb now included as I have made dolby icon smaller. All icons squared off. Progress bar moved next to now programme. Tuner info included for 4 tuners and moved next to icons.

Sorry in the delay in releasing this, it's taking a lot long than initially expected.

I have still got to slightly rejig the quickepg,
I have to amend any screen that using the 2nd template (the larger panel on the left) as everything needs slightly repositioning.
I have to go through every screen and amend a couple of font sizes.
I have to create the new separate elements for the skin extras.

It's not a massive amount of work, but just a bit slow and tedious.

I am off all week so definitely planning on finishing this in the next few days if not sooner.

basically i tryed to factory reset my box now its wont let me passed home screen (openatv) and it goes up to 100 on the box then back down to 00 then back up just repeating but its going nowhere? any idea how i can fix this thanks

unfortunately if you factory reset these boxes, they go in a boot loop. You will have to reflash your box with a new or backup image. This has nothing to do with my skin, can you please start a new thread on the zgemma forum and people will help you there. Question closed.

pass judgement when you see it on your box ;)

As for including buttons like ok, menu etc... these are needed to help people know what buttons are available on each screen. I have actually removed all the exit buttons I had on some of the screens, As I assume people should know that red or exit button escapes you out of most screens. Not only am I trying to be graphically accurate where possible, but I am making the interface more user friendly by including these extra buttons.
