I think I followed some instructions to try and make the text bigger on another thread and it made my EPG view look awful. For example, some entries try to go into two lines and it looks bad.
What text sizes are you using on this screenshot kiddac as this looks exactly how I want it.

Autotimers are the closest to series link you'll get on this box I think
 
hello people. i have bought two boxes off ebay for christmass present and was meant to come with this skin loaded onto the box to save time once i nocked it on its still got the openvix skin. so will i have to rewipe the full box because ive transerfed in by filezilla to find i didnt have vix installed ?
 
Ok I am totally confused by your post, have you vix installed or not?

First check to see if the skin has been installed, but no active by checking in the skin setup menu.
(OpenATV) Menu... setup... Usage & GUI... skin setup.
(VIX) Menu...setup...System...user interface...skin setup.

If its not there just follow the instructions on post 1 on how to install.

Don't get confused between images and skins. A skin is just your graphics overlay. Nothing needs to be wiped or reflashed. You just install the skin.

Download a fresh version of the firmware you used (same versiion number, not a newer one), replace the files in the last folder inside it with the files from your image backup.

Anyway until I fix it paste the following into wizards.xml. I have just botched this together in 5 minutes so its not perfect but usable.

That's amazing, thanks.

Perhaps in V2.0 you can make the text for the middle area a little larger like the rest of it? It's kinda harder to read on 32" and 40" TVs.

We now have two options for channel select. Which one do people prefer as the default setting.

Now, Next, Later or Now, Next

I am also considering putting in a 720 tv screen viewer in as an little bit of a hidden extra. Some channels just look better smaller, i.e sd football, adult channels. They don't upscale very well on larger tvs. Is this something that interests anyone else other than me.
Currently if you are on the epg and press text, it brings up the time and date search. This doesn't actually work or do anything, so I can just put a tv screen on this component that sits in the middle of the screen. Then if the upscale is a bit blurry you can just press epg, text and watch it slightly smaller.
