Got a zgemma HS put vix image on it alls OK. Just 2 slight problems, first is there a way to arrange autobouquets channel line up manually rather than FTP? Secondly can you adjust picture settings brightness, contrast etc.?

Small bit of an issue... I clicked the green arrow update in IPTV app and it failed a messed up the box. I cant log into through the network (ftp). It wont flash this image either. The box does boot up. No channels are working. Any ideas how to flash this image? Seems I have corrupted the software

500 OOPS: vsftpd: not found: directory given in 'secure_chroot_dir':/var/share/empty
This is the error i get when trying to FTP into the box
 
have you tried to setup outside of network or setup a no ip account on router? if so factory reset router then reflash box format usb to fat32 using hpformat tool

Hi,
Ya I have tried that. Also I have tried factory reset box. You fixed it thanks. That Hpformat tool worked!! Usual windows format didnt work. I have flashed a few boxes using the default windows format tool and worked every time. Thanks very much I will stick with this from now on
 
hp formats the best no need for hddguru or windows format never factory reset box that seems to cause more issues even with people on openatv

Just wondering is there a way to restore a backup with this image. As in point the restore image to this image and that would have fixed it too. Also can you telnet into this box. When you do a backup it saves it as a tar.gz file extension can this image be setup to be saved as a tar.gz file extension and then restored through the box. I know flashing through a USB stick is easiest, I am just wondering
 
yes following the first post to restor by imagebacups. to create your own menu, setup, vix, imagemanager create a backup then you can restore from there you can also ftp to media/hdd/imagebackups and transfer it to pc unzip it and you will see the zgemma folder extract that somewhere safe now you should have both options to flash via imagemanager or usb

iv installed this firmware, its very good build, only problem is one of the Sky movie channels shows the incorrect movie name being shown, they movie playing is Kingspin, it shows Rocky, is there any fix for this? any help would be much appreciate thank you
