new to cable

• I'm a skybox f5s user having been using subs for the last 10 months.

Now moving to a cable area. Looking for advice on boxes to buy and subs for telford area.

I've loves the f5s fir what it does an it's ease for updates for the price it costs. Don't mind spending up to 100 -150 on a cable box. Just looking for decent epg, and recording option.

Miraclebox mini combo £150 from world of sat.

Really good box. 7 Day EPG so easy to record on and will update the channel frequencies automatically if they move, so no more USB stick and AJ's

Bees, been recommend an amiko box, you have any plus and negs about these?

Bought amiko mini combo, a few months back but picture was breaking up on HD channels.

Have read that it's a pretty common problem, using the same line with the miraclebox but don't have any issues.

Dunno, when buying a miraclebox I inquired with WOS what the difference
was between the two and that is about all they said.

Didn't realise there was issues with gigablue
