no SNR signal?!?!? box not working!!!! GRRRR

Hey!

brand new to this sort of slybox thing so id really appreciate if someone can give me a bit of advice on how i can FIX my box?

was working yesterday just fine getting around 95% SNR for ALL channels including the gift channels.

switched it on today and the SNR shows as N/A!! and no channel working.

EPG still working, there is no live feeds showing due to signal, no black/blank screen just the background image of the Whooshbuild everytime i change channel.
i have plugged the satellite feed into Tuner A. i would also like to add that the dish is a COMMUNAL dish with 1 LNB.

also keep getting a pop up everytime i change channel saying "getting event info failed".

i have looked all over the internet for fixes but nothing seems to help.

any suggestions please?

i have done auto scan, autobouquets scan and played arounf with siignal finder. still nothing. SNR AGC BER are all on aswell as 0.0 DB
 
yeah theres no channels that get picked up buddy. there is no satellite signal for some reason so im assuming it wont pick up any channels. how can i fix this? could it be the seller of the box that provided me this? i bought the PlugnPlay ones with everything preloaded.
 
And nothing has happened to the dish?
You not got your old sky box or something to test on

If your not getting BBC your supplier has nothing to do with it.
 
i dont think anything has happend to the dish. it is a communal one so i have no idea where it is anyway. im gona try plug in the old sky box and see if that works. BBC is not working either
 
yeah - i was watching it yesterday then i switched it on today and it ended up like this

just plugged in my old sky box. the freesat channels all work. so why does it not work on the Zgemma? im sooooo confuse!!

its on the 28.2E sat which is where it should be. i wasnt playing around with any of the settings. im assuming once the SNR fixes itll work but i dont know

even the BBC channels and the freesat channels do not come up on the Zgemma with the SNR being stuck on N/A. but when i plug in my Sky Box it all works.
 
I would backup the line and reflash if it was alright yesterday. Did you make an image backup when it was working ok?.
 
i have given a try and put the sat feed into the 3 different sat ports but they still do not work.

i actually didnt make a back up of it, noob mistake on my part. thought once it was working it was all good to go. such a big mistake. the seller is now asking me to send it back to him and if it is a configuration mistake on my part then he will charge £50 for me to fix it. if it is his fault then he will do it free of charge.

when you say server provider do you mean the seller of the "gift" or do you mean the sky server provider? sorry for the stupid question lol.
 
If yr not getting free channels I can't see how your provider can do much

i say reflash it and back up your line
