no sound on movies or hd section

Hi need some help a friend of mine has his box setup for approx 4 months now and he is not one to adjust anything in fear of messing it up.
he is telling me he has no sound on any of the hd channels or the channels in the movie section but all other channels are fine seems crazy to me but i am no expert so
if anyone has any ideas i could try for him i would be very grateful
 
I just asked him he said no the only thing that had changed was they had a Nintendo wii plugged in for a few days

Lost my sound for all movies and some other random channels recently as well. Not sure what the problem is, maybe something to do with satellite alignment.

Ok, here is what worked for me
On your zgemma select menu>setup>audio>basic settings
Change Dolby Digital/DTS downmix to > yes, then green button

Hope this helps
