Non recording on blank channel

I had a timer recording set for Ch5 for 3.30am and no sign of it about Ben Fogle on the Chernobyl incident. Went to look for recording and none listed so went onto that channel on box and no picture. ABM runs at 1
No 5plus one either yet other box channel info is identical on both.
Restarted or rebooted box and came back working again.
Not sure how or why it vanished .?

Sorry should have said Ch 5 Hd and plus 1
I had recorded part 2 last week and the final part was on early morning .
I did wonder why no recording happened even with 0 mins.
1 month ago another failed recording on Saorview and blank recording for an hour.
