Nvidia Shield TV HELP SLOWING

Hi Guys

I know a few of us have Nvidia Shield Tv devices. my downstairs one has started to crawl to a halt regularly I have deleted all non essential apps and rebooted, but its horrendously slow still.

I dont want to go down the route of factory reset unless i have to.

Has anyone else had similar issues and been able to solve them

no, it seems to have coincided with the update that plastered the home screen with banner ads though

You running kodi on it? If so it could be your addon, check for update, if not your have to uninstall kodi and re add your addon

1. Make sure you haven't got too many apps open.
2. Make sure all apps are upto date
3. Make sure you delete apks once installed.
4. Clear cache
5. Do a restart on router and sheild.
6 get rid of any apps you don't use if storage is getting full.
7. Make sure your sheild firmware is upto date.
8. if you are using a plex server make sure it is not running.

The main cause of this problem is incompatible apps.

I've stripped it to bare bones and changed the processor and fan settings, cleared all cache, reinstalled kodi and switched the auto upscaling off max.

will check for apks etc.
