Octagon sf8 - Set up help required

i have a octagon box....when it boots up it says tune fail...remote wont do nothing ..is thare any fixes thanks

sorted...but how do u scan for channels on linux...sorry bout this people but my head battered..im new to this

Have you set this up on VIX/OpenATV? Tell us exactly what you have done, and what problems you are finding, and we will be able to help you properly.
If you have VIX set up, have your server entered, then it is only a matter of setting up your Autoboquetmaker which will scan the channels for you and keep them up to date when the frequencies change.

right iv flashed the vix firmware on ..set it up has tells me on screen but carnt find the sly uk to scan for channels.with me been new to linux havent clue to serch for satalite

i presume you reflashed box and started again,cant remember if i had a swapfile on my older model?

hope you downloaded plugins first softcams-cccam 2.31.downloads have a CCcam.cfg for line input.
