Octagon sf8008 Black screen

FHD and HD channels on my octagon sf8008 4k play but then just go to black screen sometimes straight away sometimes could be an hour.
Fresh install of grogbuild, it did it before reflashing too.
Had hamburger installed but doesn't make a difference.
Internet speed is fine.

Any ideas

Been informed its an issue with enigma boxes and my BT router maybe doesn't help.
Others on the same provider don't have the issue as I'm in a telegram group

I have watched UHD and no issues so i would ask if when gone black will a restart of cam bring service back.

Box has a working lan cable i assume

Connected ethernet, I even had quarter pounder installed but made no difference

Try using the jedimaker plugin instead. Did you have fries with the quarter pounder.

Jedi makes bouquets a channel list. You provider may not support it as he has to give you user and pass.

What codec is your provider using for his streams 264 or 265 ?

If you have all4one then no, you can't use jedimaker, you'd need the m3u and he won't give it out.
Once you know the codec in use, you may be able to tweak your settings on the device

I don't use enigma2 box for IPTV so not sure what the options are, maybe @Ferret. has some info

265 steams work with every method of installing IPTV ive tried on the SF8008 had the odd hiccup with 264 streams.

I think this issue lies with the provider or the stream not been true to the codec format, what that is i don't know as its above my pay grade.

I have same box and sounds like same provider, there is an odd stream not working everything else is good.
Speak to whoever supplied your line also look at telegram you might get help there.
Do you have a good HDMI cable in?

Will swap hdmi and see if any better 👍

Don't remove or plug in any HDMI cables if either device is powered on, you'll blow the hdmi port, seen it dozens of times.
Power both devices off first

Just noticed BT Web protect has been turned back on. I've disabled again so hopefully this helps

No joy with anything it's annoying now. I've even tried matrix skin.
I'm on BT so going to install a vpn to see if it's that.
