Onn 4k Bluetooth woes

Trying to send pics or anything really to this box, not good. Tried send to files, doesn't pick up box, but does pick up phone and firestick. Bluetooth connects but files don't send, and quickly disconnects. Been around you tube. Box Is updated?? 🤔

Try atvTools app on your phone and send files over your network to Onn device. Also install a file manager app on your Onn device to manage your files.
 
Still no go with files. Phone connection to other Bluetooth is good. Laptop won't connect via Bluetooth either. Amazon echo does connect to onn box no Prob also sky devalint sound box. Did manage to ftp into the onn sent files. But useing ex Explorer no files there. It's a tester. Did update the box again today, but it threw a hissyfit😂 but came back on in the end with update installed. Try again later. Cheers 👍

Is there a file manager on the Onn ?

Is so put files on a usb pop it in the ONN and install the files with the file manager.
 
Yes got file manager on there. No USB on the plus model 🤔. And my firestick cable otg is not USB C. But that's next step. 👍

Did you manage to connect your phone over WiFi to the Onn device using the atvTools app?
 
No mate wouldn't do it.
But does connect to firestick.
Send files to TV does the same. Got 2 honour phones here a 90 and a 200 neither will connect via Bluetooth. Yet speakers amazon and sky soundbar do connect. 🤔

Google has changed how ADB commands are handled from android 11 on so you need a workaround.
It can be done manually or you can get an app that does it for you.

 
Or just do what I did...download Send files to TV ....make sure both the app on ONN and Phone is upto date. Give all necessary permissions for app in both devices ..open app on both devices...if files on phone click send choose file...then top right corner there is a target icon click and will ask for 4 digit code ...on ONN app when you click receive will have the 4 digit code in top left corner ..enter ..it connects and send. Done
 
Will try tomorrow mate cheers. I have tried that. I get place to enter code on phone, but don't see code on ONN device 🤔👍

You should be able to ftp to the box Paul.
 
Have done already mate. Send pics. But when open file explorer not there, even though I can see them as transfered on laptop with, Filezilla

Here’s another method using a file manager.
·Install a file manager on your phone that supports network sharing (like Solid Explorer or X-Plore).
· Install a file manager on your Onn 4K Plus (like X-Plore File Manager or File Commander).
1. Enable Sharing on Phone
· Open your advanced file manager (e.g., Solid Explorer).
· Find the option to create an FTP Server or Wi-Fi Server.
· Start the server. It will give you an address (e.g., ftp://192.168.1.100:2121).
2. Connect from TV:
· On your Onn 4K Plus, open a file manager that can connect to network locations (like X-Plore).
· Look for the option to add a "Network" or "FTP" location.
· Enter the FTP address, username, and password provided by the app on your phone.
3. Access Files: You will now see your phone's storage as a folder on your TV. You can browse and open any file directly.

Just home now mate, spot on, Never seen or noticed that code hiding up there befor. Files sent. Thanks to all who helped. Still doesen solve me Bluetooth problems, being greedy now🤣👍
