Anyone know how to set up a static ip address for my skybox f5s to work?

Why static---they work ok with DHCP on.

Line provider advised me on this, I have little knowledge on the subject. My box is not connecting to broadband. Tried turning firewall off with no joy

Anyone know how to set up a static ip address for my skybox f5s to work?

Static IP setup should be similar if not same as skybox f6, here are instructions used for f6
Menu
Go to system setup
Network setup
Config
Change DHCP to Static
Input IP address, network mask, default gateway, dns - example " 192.168.0.5 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.1 205.171.3.65
Exit
Test via ping test
Exit

Then you are another proud owner of a clone/fake/copy box.

Brilliant! Is it the v5s file I download for my f5s?

Anybody know how to get the epg on the correct time, I have made it show the correct programme but is an hour behind. Does anyone have a fix for this?
