Openbox v8s

I bought a openbox v8s from fleabay inserted a cline (trusted line) the open box decrypts it for seconds then scrambled sign in middle of screen it's not the line as I put it in other boxes and all is fine
Any ideas why it's only decrypting for short periods

possibly a faulty network adapter, if the line works on others fine then its gotta be the box. Have you tried another box at yours or have all other boxes been tried at different addresses

How is the box connected to the router

Line tested at my house on different boxes all OK only this box is playing up
And connected to router by cable not WiFi

Try a factory reset and see how it goes, worth a shot!

I would do a firmware upgrade rather than a factory reset and that way you can update the channel list via network settings

Steve, if its new mate, goto menu> network upgrade> ok to connect> ok on firmware top left> ok on v8s in the middle> yellow for upgrade, should be you mate

It's a secondhand box mate
Just Googled firmware update and it looks simple to do

Done a factory reset reflashed firmware and updated a channel list all sorted now
