Openvpn on ibox 2 plus

Hi was just wondering how to setup openvpn on the cloud ibox 2 plus?

I have installed it on the vix 41 image and downloaded the file off a free VPN site. Renamed Client.conf and ftp'd to correct location.

But everyone I try still says stopped never started.

I'm wanting it mainly for ts media as most feeds don't work due to UK ip's been blocked

If u download the vix 041 posted here set up it has qorking tsmedia with proxies set up by dumbguy and his mate

Thanks for the reply. Would I be OK to restore my own plugins through backup manager or would this overwrite the tsmedia with proxies?

As long as tsmedia wasnt part of the backup which it prob was.

Sweet so make a fresh backup without tsmedia and I should be good to go

All I can say is hope so dude. To be sure. Ftp the folders /etc/Tsmedia and usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions/tsmedia
to ur pc after flash and before settings load. Then use them to overwrite after loading ur settings

Maybe then even run a tsmedia update from tools inside tsmedia itself. And never vix online update!

Not sure if this helps, but I purchased a a second hand linksys router off ebay (£20) with DDWRT enabled, which is plugged into my main router. I then cabled my cloud box to the linksys router, which has my VPN credentials entered into it and voila, cloudbox now uses my VPN network, whilst everything else runs off my main non VPN wireless connection.
