Help guys before I lose the plot
I am trying to set up oscam.
I have 2 c lines and one cws line which I converted to an n line.
Ive used the cccam to oscam converter but my problem is I cant get the n line to show up in the oscam interface on webif at all

If I set the line up in cccam or newcamd the line works, so the line is fine and active
But why wont it work in oscam anyone any ideas
You can run all line types in oscam cant you?

The box im trying is a duo2.

Go look at the cccam to oscam converter is there not a section for others to convert into another reader.
Was the line a CWS before.

Sorry to sound thick but what does wrong group mean?

Here is how I have the readers setup. I have even tried the ones in wilos toolkit but failing miserably
Yes the line was a cws

I am waiting on the provider to get back to me. But patience as never been my strong point.....
I am also waiting to try them on my duo4k but cant get near it at the minute, not sure if the box will make a difference though

All your readers are in group 1

Why are you adding CCcam values for server using the Newcamd protocol. remove them and try again.

I dunno haha
All I did was copy the c lines into the cccam to oscam converter
Then added the nline/cws line into a separate reader
and thats how it came out

Edit
Still dont work

I did not copy my clines as i used the cccam to oscam converter to browse the files on desktop where i have a copy and do it for me
Reading elsewhere it said to treat a CWS line as a Nline and convert that .

I think i deleted any readers in there before i sent over my converted reader.

Didnt even know you could search for them on your computer. Ive always copied and pasted.
Just tried your way and thats exactly the same reader as I posted.
It shouldnt be this hard surely

Still no word from provider either so am a bit stuck at the minute
I usually use oscam on my own box never any problems just dont understand why this one wont go

Anytime i flash my boxes i have a copy of cfg and cccam in that desktop folder and a copy of oscam -oscam server which contains my readers.
If you changed back your CWS back to N as unsure if you did that?
Did you use the converter for your Nline.

This is using willos which again doesnt work

Its gotta be the line guys, ive added my own cws/nline to the 2 c lines and that shows up and I am able to see it switching to the different servers, so that works.

So maybe the line I was trying can not use oscam...I dunno
The provider may be able to shed some light on it

if he has provided a line like this:
CWS = server.net 18455 ABCDEFGHI JKLMNOPQR 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
And you have converted it to
N: server.net 18455 ABCDEFGHI JKLMNOPQR 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Invariably, it won't work

CWS and N: lines use different ports, ask him to convert it for you, it will change to something like this:
N: server.net 98721 ABCDEFGHI JKLMNOPQR 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

put that in the reader and retry

Maybe it might be me being a bit thick😆, cos I’m no expert, but you say can’t get the line to show up in Oscam interface.
But surely you just copy and paste your server settings and save?

@pabloescaban Maybe the line I was trying is different to mine as I am able to change it to what I want
Will know more if the provider ever gets back to us and will update if he does.
I have asked for it to be converted to oscam but pretty sure im doing it right
Like I said in my previous post I can get all 3 lines to show up and work if I use my own cws/n line
So I think its the line...who knows

@Northern Monkey The line doesnt look like it can run oscam, we will see

Yes restarted it loads of times and its in the right place
I just dont know but if all else fails I can get a line on my server but will wait a little while to see if we hear anything

If one provider only uses one port, EG 10000, you can change the line from N to CWS and it will connect, some providers have different ports for C, N and CWS lines
