Otg storage on 2023 fs 4K 2nd gen

Has anybody tried to expand the storage on a fire stick 4K 2nd gen’ i have a otg cable which I’ve used in the past on previous sticks which have worked fine and detected but this just don’t wanna play ball’ tried numerous flash drives sandisk Kingston Toshiba all formatted to fat32 none of them will show up at all when plugged in 🤔

I have it setup on my cube to record programs to a usb stick.

I’m starting to wonder if Amazon have disabled it on the regular 4K stick 2nd gen’ either that or my otg cable has given up the ghost which looks fine i can’t see a cable to stop working suddenly’ then again i did only pay £5 for it about 4 years ago 😆

Try it on old phone or some other device with micro usb
