Seriously! because it can be used FOR FREE and you DON'T HAVE to pay for the community edition. Everything is clear enough on the website!

Because you don't have to pay 15euro a year for it, that is for the premium edition, the free version is free.
15 euro - £13.30 - £1.10 per month

Cheap TV channels seem to have spoilt people. Sky £110+ per month and how much are you paying for your channels?

For the work and hours involved in the e-channelizer program I doubt the cost will ever be covered, but as long as you have super cheap TV and free programs to do what you need you will be happy.

You don't seem to realise the work and effort that goes into giving you cheap TV or utilities to make it better. If you do you will see that you are moaning over a few quid. You may even find that your IPTV provider uses e-channelizer to create the initial EPG you use.
 
Fantastic bit of Software and once you can use, it is GREAT.
I happily paid for the Full Package, everything in life is not FREE and peeps are due some ££ for the hard work they put in, especially when others are getting so much out of it for FREE and then gain from it.. ££

Techkings gets a new user who is the creator of probably the biggest program used for EPG creation and other things and yet you seem more interested in slating the guy for not mentioning there is a premium version too and some features in the screen shots may require upgrading.

As for is it OK to post about free/premuim software you will have to take it up with a moderator @wheelo, @benijofar or @HiTeck . Personally I think you are going overboard and nitpicking because it is no longer only free for all features.
 
Sayyid, you are a legend m8 and as wooshman said, quite a few providers probably use your program to generate their epg anyway. Keep up the good work as without developers like you we would know nothing.
 
To give 2 examples of probably the world's best known "FREE" products, I give you AVG antivirus, and WINRAR.
Both have very high functioning free versions, yet both have premium versions.

Great work, keep it up.
 
Hi just trying latest version and I have used epg assign option it seems to go through the motions and the guide says I should have echannelizer option in epg importer in sources but I cant see it.

I have also checked \etc\epgimport and I cant see echannelizer source. Am I missing something? Thanks.

This new feature "stream buffering to eliminate playback interruptions" - how does this work exactly and what setting are you changing on each channel?

Also, if you are using something like SULS or JediPlayerXtream and you have it set to overwrite and update your bouquets daily, I take it this will overwrite this new E-Channelizer feature unless you manually connect again via E Channelizer?
 
It will change the channel references. I don't use any plugin and have no idea what they actually do.

When your provider update channels and that really never happens daily, simply re-import M3U and enable syncing. This will update your channels / bouquets while keeping your setup intact.

By the way, auto update will be supported soon with many powerful functionalities.
