Perfect player on Openbox VX?

I've just purchased an Openbox VX for my IPTV sub (trying it before getting a mag) and wondered as it's android, I can add apps such as perfect player to it right? Instead of using it's web TV function?

perfect player works very well on them, pretty much instant channel changing.
