Please help me to choose box per my requirements....

hahaha, ofcourse these things are all risky! Even if it lasted 1 year i guess i would be happy! The guy asked me to leave a positive review for him on ebay and he would extend the sub for 6 months on top of the 3 years :D

It works okay, its not the best, there are freezes particularly on sky movie and sports channels, every now and then, when they do happen they freeze for a good amount of time too which is annoying!! Anyway, im going to get a sub from this forum anyway tomorow when my zgemma boxes arrive and then ill set up all 3 boxes to use it. Will try and get the £10 one refunded from ebay i guess :D
 
I am sure it is £20 not £10 so why are telling me that, do I check my PayPal account to make sure it was £20 sub of course I will.
 
Just flashed my Zgemma wooshbuild update on line went like a dream, thanks ter this forum with the tutorials / threads ect helped me a lot, some good reading on here, happy with my zgemma

I am not long been a member on this site and am glad I joined, everything i needed to know with problems like ie, flashing the Zgemma box, rebooting, the latest firm ware with a bit of searching around you will always find a solution here, wonderful.

Yes you guys are right, this forum has been a big help, especially its members.

So i received my ZGemma boxes yesterday and i set them up with Wooshbuild v5 image. I set these up with a USB recorder in the back port temporarily, because in the end i want to switch to a 128GB MicroSD card. Ive now removed the USB from the back and inserted a microSD card. What requires changing? in terms of file paths etc...

Ive redownloaded the CrossEPG onto the microsd card fine, after first initialising the SD card and then converting from ext3 to ext4 or something.

But how about download paths, the SWAP file etc...?

So how do i get the swap file on the Sd card now? As the box was setup with a usb drive in the back but I've changed to sd card now.

Also other help i need please:

- Im using trial GIFT (newcamd.list) that i placed in USB drive when doing the image flash. How do i replace this with another file (new login details)? Do i need to insert the USB again with the file copied on it and use a plugin? If so which plugin is it for newcamd files?

- How do i remove Adult/Gay channels category from EPG?

- Are you allowed to move the categories order around on slykHD skin? For example to Move International Tab to the first tab on the top list?

- If a channel changes frequency, i heard this box doesn't require a rescan and it will automatically find itself? Which setting do i need to turn on for this? or is it automatically enabled?

Swap file on Atv is menu. Info panel. Plugins. Swap manager. Green select your drive. 256mb takes few minutes to create red to activate yellow Autostart Channel updates are already switched on so box will scan for you To hide adult channels this can be done via Autobouquetmaker hide sections scan reboot

But how about replacing my login details with a new newcmd.list file?

With ref to line details just do the Same as before as old line will go dead anyway. There must be a way of moving bits around I have never moved any and use a different image But maybe someone has

You mean i have to REFLASH the box again and loose everything everytime i want to change my login details for GIFT? Surely there must be another way to do it?
 
No just put new line in a newcamd list file and use the camd importer or load FileZilla to computer and Connect to your box. Newcamd list file can be found in usr/ keys if stuck just pm me will talk you through it
