Premium Chanells Black Screen

Hi Everyone, a bit of help required please.

Last night around 9.30 one of the premium channels froze and since then all i get is black screen on paid for channels.

I am running OpenVix, i have tested the line via Testious.com and all working fine. Network connection is good, signal on both tuners is 100%

Restarted Cam several times. Rebooted Box and Router. Contacted the provider and they confirm that there are no issues.

I am truely stumped.

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS = 192.168.1.1 20000 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server1
CWS_MULTIPLE = 192.168.1.2 20000:20005 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server2
CWS = FAKEINFO 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 server 1

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Thanks

I am having the exact same problem, worked fine for the last 6 months and then suddenly all the premium channels are not working (just bbc etc). Anyone have any idea if this is a know issue with this or how to fix it? I have Zgemma box.

Regards,
Justin

It's so weird, even deleted newcamd file and recreated.
I haven't done a clean install of the firmware. Hoping i don't have to do that.

Same problem here only getting FTA channels, tried 2 working gifts none work, am using wooshbuild but same happens when I tried sucmnsee....;)

i had issues last night with offline with server and now back on,sometimes things happen we have no control of.

people should read up how you box works and not working and how to fix it,last thing you do is reflash.

knowing the difference in clines and nlines and what your box is using at present in the way of cams.

Mine is down also, started last night and I haven't managed to get it back up since. Something must be going down

so what would you do to test to see what is and isn't working? i thought i covered the basics.

if i'm wrong please provide some meaningful insight so i know not to waste your time in future.

Also how long do you expect "things outside of my control" to continue? I am pretty good within the IT field but Linux isn't my strongpoint.
I could get a linux expert to check the code but i thought i would ask the question of people in here to see if it was a simple fix.

If it isn't thats fine but i was just asking the question.

Cheers

think i'm going to have to do this, just leave it alone and see if it comes back. i've been working on it too long today :)

there is a dns issue with some people trying to connect, some are affected and some are not. By now your providers should've been able to sort you with a fix. Remember you could be one of many that they are trying to get back to if you've emailed or contacted them

My provider dismissed their servers straight away. Hopefully it's an oversight and they have realised it is them.

Can confirm DNS issue, changed domain to IP address on line and now works

Where and how do you do that babybrooke ;)

you will need to ask your provider for the public ip address of the server. Then you change the fakeinfo.com (domain name) part of the line with the IP address. Restart the softcam on the box and it works. (well, it did for me)
