Paul the octopus has an uncanny knack of correctly predicting the winning side.
But this Sunday's World Cup showdown between England and Germany could really test the powers of the eight-legged oracle - as he lives at Oberhausen Sea Life Centre in Germany but was born in Weymouth, England.
Two plastic boxes, one with the St George's cross and one with the German flag will be lowered into Paul's tank. Each has a tasty morsel of food inside.
The box which Paul opens first is judged to be the predicted winner of the game.
Paul also picked Serbia to be victorious over Germany
"For the European Championship in 2008 Paul had a success rate of more than 80% for the German games," said Tanja Munzig, a spokeswoman for Sea Life in Oberhausen.
"And for this World Cup, he has had a 100% success rate so far."
For Wednesday's crunch game against Ghana he correctly chose the Germany box and also rightly predicted that the German side would lose to Serbia last week.
England fans will be hoping his birth place means more than his current home country and he will go for the box with red and white on the front.
