Puzzled MGCAM config for Cable

Have a working MGCAM setup for $LY in my Combo box - been using this setup for many months without issues.

received a N test line for vermin today, entered this into the newcamd file using the "CWS =" prefix, nevertheless the line doesn't work.

Enter the same line details in CCcam and it works (albeit with some glitching)

any ideas - would really prefer to use MGCAM.


line issuer assures me that it should work in MGCAM.
 
but did you tell box to switch line if you had 2 entered?because you entered second into cccam you would have stopped mg and started cccam to clear?
 
Yes. Switched mgcam off for cccam. Only have one running at a time.

Line supplier tells me that when I am using cccam the n line appears to connect as a c line at his end.

Would like to get mgcam running like I have it running for non-cable services

i would think you need mgcamd and newcamdlist with line entered ,you do have net id and channels working on cccam you say ,so it looks like line entered may be incorrect?mgcam was started and in via blue button.?enabled or autostart i think.
