Questions relating to cable boxes?

on a single tuner one can only record and watch a channel on same tp,same goes for sat and cable record one and each tuner and one view on same tp as other channels are usually greyed out=not usable.

a box like vu duo/solo2 are twin tuners and can record 6 at once while looking at recording on hard drive sat only box.

high end box like duo2 has swappable tuners meaning you can add cable tuners and record away.

gigablue was a cheaper box but had issues with recordings needing a fix from gigablue unsure if that box was the quad model.

I dont get what you mean.

So are you saying you can record and watch another channel? what is tp?

Is duo2 the only other high end box with both multiple sat and cable tuners?

Im still lost looking at the tp list there are just freesat channels.

What I am saying is if you record on a paid channel cant you then view another paid channel?

if you had a combo with a line for sat and cable then you can record sat view cable and vice-versa-only way of view on each if 2 recordings are in use is same tp in sat or cable side.

But how many other tp are there? This is getting confusing now in terms of what channels you can watching while recording something.

So the Miraclebox Twin tuner allows you to record multiple channels and watch something else on another channel?

So is the twin box the best for recording multiple channels and watching others then?

dont you know of other boxes which have multiple tuners?

Hi, Seen your post about miracle box and really need some help. I have bought a miracle box premium mini hd and server has done a runner. I can't seem to find any help here about how to get up and running again with new line. Any advice appreciated. Many thanks

Hi guys. Could anyone be kind enough to share their experience with cable boxes? I have Virgin broadband and am considering switching from my Sly sub to the Virgin cable sub. Are the HD channels still fully working? Thanks!
