Quick Noob question

Just a quick question , I have a Zgemma star 2 coming off a friend and looked at a few setup guides etc, Saw that all have 2 feeds, I only have one in my living room and know the box can take 2 1 for live one for recording, as Im not too fussed about the recording element of the box does it have to have 2 feeds constantly ?

Sorry if this has been asked before had a search and couldnt find anything

Nah just have to switch 1 off mate just can't record another channel while watching 1....Myself I don't record so have the same on my second box
