Yes that’s fine. As long as your provider only sees one IP address for your line.

Depends on your provider. Mine for example is locked to my home external ip address. If I try and use it elsewhere it doesn't work.

I've never come across a box locked to an IP address - you sure about that?

It's not my box, it's my IPTV subscription. My box will work anywhere but IPTV only works at home.

Provider has to reset my line. It has only happened once in about 6 months though. I took my box to another location once, nothing worked.....contacted provider and that's how I found out that he has locked the subscription to my home IP address. Apparently, if I buy a 12 month sub, I can use it anywhere, but anything less is locked.

One of the reasons why I have just posted on the 'IPTV request thread' as it's getting annoying that I cannot take my box with me to mates houses and when I go away for the weekend etc.
