Raffle Money 2022 ~ How Its Being Used

Right guys and girls, it's time for the annual how the money from the raffles is being used thread.
It's not that I think anyone mistrusts me, it is just that I think several people like to see the work that we are doing here.
I had hoped to start this several weeks ago, but my phone with the first shop photos on was nicked on holiday in Spain.

So the starting total, based on the conversion rate on the day it was sent to me is €1208.43, so let's call it €1209.

The first shop cost €94 euro and consisted of crisps, chocolate and biscuits.
Then this Saturday gone, we went and spent €198.

We were able to get 5 boxes of crisps, 4 boxes of popcorn, loads of creme eggs that were reduced to a ridiculous €1 for 5 eggs, large bars of chocolate, protein bars, biscuits, and a couple of boxes of tea cakes.
We brought it down to the guys and filled the van.20220611_160408.jpg

So that's €292 spent, leaving a running total of €917 left to spend on this wonderful effort.
Again, many thanks to all that took part in the raffles and who made personal donations.
 
We have had some great support this year, so because of a lack of space to store stuff, Saturday was the first time since June that I have gone shopping for our homeless friends.
Bought some drinks, biscuits, crisps, chocolate and sweets.

Another two trolley loads of kindness.

Spent €156, for a total of €448, leaving another 469 Euro.

Many thanks to all, and to the individual who got help from another member on here and made a donation for that help, it will go a long way.
 
And yet another smallish shop, just 240bags of Bertie Bassetts finest jellies, plus we have made 6 sliced pans of sandwiches 🥪 (63)
For a grand total of €60 + €20=€80

Leaving €388 from our total.

As always, many, many thanks to all who participated.
 
Another shop on Friday, we got some cans of coke, boxes of packets of biscuits, and a shed load of protein bars, a few boxes of Twix bars for a grand total of €100, leaving €288 to go.

I can't reiterate enough how grateful we are for your participation in all the raffles, donations and nice thoughts and kind words.
You have been amazing for the last number of years, and I have a feeling we are just about to start a new campaign.

Good work @wheelo I do think we're ready to go again if you or @Hitek want to start the auctions off again, @bazcfc1 needs a new box haha
