Anyone else use the USB facility on their skybox to record/pause live tv? I'm finding mine hit and miss. The skybox will only recognise the USB is there if I unplug it and plug it back in again. Which is ok as a short term fix for one off recordings but it is a little annoying as it means I cannot pause live tv unless I have already done so.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Is my USB stick too slow and should I invest in a new usb 3.0?
 
Guess I won't invest in a new usb stick then! Does anyone use an external hard drive with theirs?
 
I have an F3, and find that the Usb stick is always recognised at startup. are you sure it is not a problem with the stick or with the port??
