recording VOD

Hi All

I have an IPTV sub which has a lot off good series available as VOD. I work offshore and would like to save some of them to watch offline. What is the easiest way of doing this?

I have a Zgemma box but would prefer a different way of recording as SSH to the box to transfer the downloaded content isn't the fastest.
