Recordings constantly freezing

Hi, I've just recently got a zgemma h2s ipab. 250gb hard drive. I'm able to watch all TV programmes no problem. But anything that I record is impossible to watch with skipping and freezing.
Any suggestions as to what could be wrong?

Worth a try,Could also disable tuner B and then try a recording to test the cable

hi initialized a usb stick and check how the box is recording with out your hdd
