roll back firmware on A780?

since the latest update my kv has been really bad, can't watch any channels today as they disappear within seconds.
Also the box itself seems to freeze and won'tr respond to the remote, pressing up and down on the remote does nothing and then 2 minutes later the box responds by changing channels up and down in quick succession. Can i roll back the update because it was OK before this?

yes should be ok as long as its the mg/newcamd image and server details re entered if need be.

when you updated did you follow correct protocol factory reset and rescanned?

Yeah did a rescan the following day because it was acting up.
It was Ok for a day or two after that but today is unwatchable.
Doing a factory reset doesn't remove the update?

no only a reflash or update can change your image.

i've noticed that (on another site) the 31102016 is marked V2. perhaps you could try another online update to cure yr problem?

Thenks for that Smiffy, I'll have a bash at it tomorrow and see if it's any better.
It's useless as it is, only FTA channels stay on longer than 5 seconds.
All the channels are there, the box can't seem to lock onto one for any length of time

I believe there was a later file than that, but I haven't got it 'saved'
