Running two different suppliers subs on one device H2s

Thinking of trying out a second supplier so that I can switch when a channel is bad & glitchy, or when the server is down. How easy is this to do? Would it be too much for my box?

Current sub is script with bouquets for epg. Would adding scripts from an entirely different supplier mess that up, for example copy over the previous scripts?

Or would it be better to try to find someone offering the xstream plugin? Keep the two subs entirely separate. One with epg & the backup just as a long playlist on xstream.

I have 4 subs running on my zgemma - scripts don't overwrite old ones just add to them! They all run fine

lol..."4" wtf....all i can say m8 is " you can pick em " are your lines that bad, that you need 4 lines to run a glitch free box...[ not that there is such a thing ]...

I've just looked on my oscam file and there are 7 lol!
I think most are expired. I just add the new one on to the end.
Time to prune the dead ones out!

Willo m8, i was give a fully configured oscam from a very good member on here, and in my oscam configuration for the line, i can only see on area for one line, so, one out & one in, do different oscam`s have different set-up`s m8..??

You can just add another reader onto the end depending on what type of line it is.
If you have 2 Sly mgcamd lines for example, just copy the second reader and add to the end.
Oscam will automatically switch to the best line.

It's just an alternative softcam to mgcamd and CCcam.
IMO it's better for running multiple lines and one of the few cams that the new arm boxes can use.

Just go to Menu > Plugins > Green Button (download plugins) > Softcams
Download the latest Oscam for your box.

Configure your oscam.server file with your line details and copy it over and then choose Oscam in the softcam manager.

i'm guessing this is only for n/c-lines and not for iptv

And just to add to the wee bit that willo forgot to mention, you will need to open you browser and put the ip address of your box into the top search bar, followed with :8888. then hit enter, and up should come the oscam settings

tried to download via plugin download on box and got message "a background update check is in progress, please wait and try again". i do get this message with my box often

Iptv subs mate - not via oscam - you need two to record. I have two rock solid subs and two back ups that I gleaned for next to nothing that I can fall back on.

Thanks for all the replies. Much appreciated. I tried a test sub using xc plugin which didn't interfere with my existing suppliers bouquets since it's got a different menu of it's own for that stuff. Also tried a test with xtream editor which I had never used before. The xtream editor plugin integrated with my existing suppliers script bouquets with no problem and didn't overwrite anything, just appeared beside them. (Tried two tests with xtream editor, one was set-up with bouquets, but no epg in the stream. Other had full epg).

But seems that two xtream editor subs don't work well together, one line id supplants the other (the former streams didn't stop working, at least for now, just no longer showing up in the bouquets and not updateable. I had the original lines id's bouquets saved in echannelizer & could import them back tho). So maybe if anyone had two suppliers using xtream editor they'd need to switch back and forth manually to get any updates from their suppliers & use echannerlizer to combine the bouquets.
