Ok, so i have a digital antena and freeview satellite dish. The tdt antena connects to a signal amplifier and splits out to 2 cables for 2 tv wall points, the wall point has 2 sockets labelled RF which is a male port, the other says sat and has a female port. The wall point only accepts one cable but connects to both sockets. Does this mean i can cut the cable and splice in the sat dish cable before or after the amplifier and the sat box and tdt tv be able to decode their respective signals correctly? Also the back of the wall socket has a break point to prevent satellite power, should i break it?
