Serial number for the radio

I have a Suzuki Grand Vitara and the radio is locked I need some assistance. I notice everyone gives serial numbers, I cant find it in the owners manual so where do I get the serial number?

The serial and model number will be printed on a label attached to the radio's metal casing (requiring removal from the dash to see) This is more reliable, rather than relying on the radio's manual which is often not for the radio actually installed.

There's only a few of the radios used by Suzuki where the code can be provided by serial number...these are radios manufactured by Blaupunkt.

See if you can find out the model number of the radio... sometimes printed on the radio's fascia

Sorry.. it's no giving info on the radio model. think only way will be to remove radio from dash and post model number etc.. (label attached to radio)
tbh I'm doubtful it will be a Blaupunkt... more likely a Clarion, where serial code is not possible.. :(
