Serie A and Coppa Italia no longer on Albanian platform

Following the incident involving the signal going beyond national borders , Lega Calcio Serie A has decided, as stated in the press release published this afternoon, to terminate all existing contracts with the Albanian platform Tring .
" The Lega Calcio Serie A announces that, starting today, it will not provide the Serie A Enilive and Coppa Italia Frecciarossa signals to TRING , an Albanian broadcaster, at least until the broadcaster provides sufficient guarantees that it will be able to prevent this platform from being used to watch league and Coppa Italia matches from Italy.
The current contract clearly strictly prohibits any form of signal overspill in Italy and requires the geolocalization of OTT signals to Albania only ," reads the official statement from the League.
It should be noted that Tring, a completely legal platform operating in the Albanian market, and the League had an agreement in place until today for the broadcast of Serie A, which brought in €4 million in revenue for the Italian top flight. The agreement, as stated in the League's press release, also includes the broadcast of the Coppa Italia.
