Have started to have problems with recording , all worked great then found I cant record series, individual recordings are ok but when record series is selected nothing happens apart from the panel which is looking for events.
After that has completed .Nothing.
Anybody know how I can put it right , have looked at the Timers ,and Set Up, but cant find anything that gives me clue.
 
Have you altered the AutoTimer settings in... Menu > Timers > AutoTimers?

Change the 'restricted to certain days of the week' filter from enabled to disabled. Then check your scheduled timers to see if the scan has picked up more of the programme you're trying to record.
 
Thanks for your reply, Have just gone to Auto Timers and it says disabled.
Can you suggest anything else ?
 
It's difficult to help with these things without seeing the actual output in front of us. Could you try setting up a new autotimer/series link for say Coronation Street. See how many scheduled timers it sets during the scan.
 
Set Coronation Street on Series link , Got the panel looking for events none found.
looked at timers nothing showing for Coronation Street.
Tried just pressing record and it set to record tonight ok.
Sometimes on series it will find some matching events but nothing happens, on this occasion it didn't even do that.
 
Have you gone through the autotimer settings to see if there's anything untoward affecting the search? Might be worth you taking a photo of each section of the settings and posting them up here.

It's purely a process of elimination with us not being able to see exactly what's going on.

Thanks! I meant the actual AutoTimer settings for that particular programme you've set up...therefore, MENU > TIMERS > AUTO TIMERS > then highlight the relevant timer...e.g. Coronation Street... and press OK. It's the settings in here I'd be interested in seeing.

Sorry about that thought you wanted everything.
Have just set it to record Coronation St tonight on series link ,As you can see on the Auto menu its showing a one off recording, but on the epg it shows nothing, used to have R for recording or R and up and down arrows for record series.
 
That`s set for Friday only, personally when I set a timer, I used the RED button (options) rather than the record button. You get more control this way. Just untick the specific day option and it`ll record every day.

That's a good tip about the red button. Cheers!

There was no recording icon on my EPG either when I added the autotimer, but when I exited the EPG and went back in again the icons were there.
Check your Timer Overview with the Green button to see if the timer for tonight is set. If so, it's working correctly - you then need to edit the autotimer settings to include all days of the week, rather than be restricted to a Friday.
 
Doesn't matter which button I use red or record button the box will not record a series, No icon next to the programme, should be up and down arrows and R for series record.
Info box searches for events and finds 0 events so no series record can be done.
Record once works perfectly and puts an R against the programme.
Tried making sure anytime is on the timer setting but still no joy, It all used to work great.
Do you think the box is faulty ? I cant find any other settings to adjust.
