Setting up cloud ibox 2 plus issue.

not me but i think trouble ahead.=

" i have a ibox2 plus with an image my friend loaded it is vix apollo like i said i cant get it off. it says max digital when i load it up.."

oh bugger i say max digital which i have has a new bootloader and apollo is full flash install,now i fairly sure you cannot go backwards with bootloader and image and looks like box may die.it still powers on so far,any way to flash it maybe like serial??


so a warning to others dont use wrong images double and treble check.
one reason i stick with original units only no messing up.

Yes always be sure ibox safe vix
But hopefully Its just the 'after bootloader change xpeedlx to cloudix' thingy its cool. Take one of ur old backups named xpeedlx and rename to cloudix. At a guess thats it.
I did a fresh backup this evening in downloads. Just remember to rename xpeedlx to cloudix

Ibox put out a 29may bootloader too which ups processor to 751 but now must change flash folder name. Think it was to accommodate Apollo.
Or just to keep up with the box its cloning ;-)

Let us know how they get on dude

until they know what box they have as they will have to get more info before anyone says to use this or that,and i heard possible to go backwards with bootloader and image,are bootloader identifiable on boxes hmmm?

This is not fact just a guess:
But I havnt heard any probs with bootloader as long as its the 29/5/14 version. Prior to that I wouldnt try any of the other bootloaders. But even saying that im not running 29th bootloader on any of the older boxs just in case. All the new ones being sent out already run 751.
And all the images since start of helios say maxdigital now.
I THINK if it says cloud ibox 11 + on bootscreen before showing the vix bootscreen it should be safe to run 29th bootloader.
