Setting up VPN Tunnel with KV

Hello,

I am going to be getting a KV box soon and set it up. I am on Virgin and there is no possibility of getting a BT line here so I am stuck them regardless. So what I'd like to do is setup a VPN Tunnel between the modem and the KV box.

I got the idea from this quote:

I think the servers are in strange places like India, China and Russia so not sure how much seizing will get done anytime soon. Also, as the servers for KV are effectively free then even if the servers did get seized there's no financial records or anything on them to track back to any clients. Excepts for some sort of initial session validation I'm not sure there's any form of logging done whatsoever.
As for Vm monitoring, well thats easily sorted by using a VPN tunnel. That way everything between the box and the VPN server is encrypted. VM would have no idea what the data is or where its going.

Now for me this is perfect as I know how Virgin are, and even though it's illegal way they may try to do to stop me watching channels for free via KV they have very good laywers and they won't stop at anything, so in summary I just want to make this like a "fail safe" option just incase VM do try and do something about what I am about to do with KV. If something does happen I cannot change to another ISP (Due to only being able to get cable here)

However, I am not good at networking and really need help as to how to setup the VPN Tunnel with KV. Can anyone explain it in simple terms or send me a link to an "easy to use" guide as to how to set it up. Also I am wondering would I need any more hardware for the tunnel? (Between the modem and KV box)

Many Thanks in advance for the help.

J
