Sky Sports HD 1 & Sky Sports News HD glitches

Hi,

Does anyone else experience any glitches on these channels? I noticed it is especially bad during the football! All other channels seem fine, I have signal intensity/strength 90%/74% and I'm connected to my router by ethernet cable on Virgin 120Mb.

Also I don't have Channel 5 HD, any help?

Got channel 5 HD back myself today but i dont have any probs with sports at all

go to your cline provider seems like you got to many clients on the server peek times cant cope with the serge

Thanks Biddy79UK but I managed to get Channel 5 HD back with an up to date channel list although I appreciate your help.

Bazza8952 like Bobless says I don't think thats the case as surely we would all be noticing the glitch?

Is it possible to change the frequency for these channels incase mine might be lightly off?

Not all have same provider for lines some put to many lines out and causes problems like u have at peak times

I'm open to it being to many people on the same line but why is it only on certain channels (Sky Sports News HD and Sky Sports 1 HD as far as I'm aware) and it's at any time of the day not just in the evening?

What would you suggest I do?

Most peeps get a line for the sports and them sit and watch it most of the day , that's why a good provider won't let you test at the weekend.

Change your provider, that's why it doesn't pay to buy a cheap 12 month subscription. Not saying you have like.

Best thing to do is get a test line off some one else and update your channel list's .. My channels are bang on... not many problems at all if there is my server lets us know if and when they are doing up grades :)

My problem seems to be finally fixed after I took a punt on a new gold plated F-Type cable! I think my old cables shielding was causing interference to the signal so if anyone else is having such problems they might want to try this as an option!
