It's not the box that's the issue, it's the encryption. You'll need to go down the cable route if want gin HD via a gift

you can also go down the iptv route if you have good internet speeds.

HD channels were not possible to view due to Sky's security implementation.

Iptv comes through your internet. You can get a lot more channels and most are in HD. It cost more than a line. You can usually receive it through an iptv comparable receiver ,android box and even a smart tv
