Sky UK SD still works on E2 boxes if you can find the correct server. Now the technical side. Sky UK HD and Sky IT it is much harder to obtain the K1 key which is required to get sharing working as it hidden witin the receivers. Sky DE allow the use of cams and cards so it's easier to obtain. SKY IT is currently working on forever/mars type boxes, SKY UK not working at the moment.Hi all,
Can I ask a random question just for education?
How come Sky DE still works on E2 and Viark but Sky UK doesn't? I thought they had both moved to icam encryption? Or is Sky UK different?
Have you enabled streamrelay in oscam.config fileThanks for this.
So i've found a server that has the Sky SD channels and I can see in OSCAM they are being decrypted, but I'm still getting a blank screen on some channels. Sky Sports SD is working but others like Sky Comedy are showing a blank screen.
Does anyone have any ideas?
[streamrelay]
stream_relay_enabled = 1

It depends which caid is used, 0963 (white) cards all channels will open with the same settings. Thanks for this.

Softcsa replaces the need to use Stream Relay. So am I but some do not clear with softcsa
if you look at my image of channels the sky channels without padlock wont open unless streamrelay is also enabled.

0960 (red) and 0961 (purple) some channels need 1 setting (at the server / card end) and other channels require different settings, so to get all the channels that are open using these 2 caid's will require 2 different cards or a custom oscam that will allow you to change the setting per sid).
So based on what you have described, I am guessing the server you are using probably has an 0960 card (as these are more common than 0961).
NoThank you, yes it looks like it's CAID 0960.
Is there anything I can do with the OSCAM setting my end?
not here it doesn't as I mentioned Softcsa will open ones with padlock stream relay opens all i have listedSoftcsa replaces the need to use Stream Relay.
Both methods will open those channels.
| dvbapi (client: Enigma2, protocol version: 3) | 1C21:0963@000000 | Sky Witness [BSkyB] |
| streamrelay | 1C21:0963@000000 | Sky Witness [BSkyB] | ⇆ dvbapi (2 ms) | 00:01:22 |
In your screenshot the 3 channels with the padlock, do not use icam, therefore they do not need softcsa or stream relay to open them.not here it doesn't as I mentioned Softcsa will open ones with padlock stream relay opens all i have listed
dvbapi (client: Enigma2, protocol version: 3) 1979:0963@000000 U&Alibi [BSkyB]

streamrelay 1C21:0963@000000 Sky Witness [BSkyB] ⇆ dvbapi (2 ms) 00:01:22

So you need to use the oscam.dvbapi file, and specify sids.OK, so I've spoken to my provider, they have both 0960 (for sky sports / TNT) and 0963 cards (for all other channels) but my OSCAM just defaults to 0960 instead of trying both CAIDS.
I don't have any services added in those settings. In your stream relay settings, make sure you've cleared out the service list. Otherwise the channel will keep trying to use stream relay.
This caught me out too when I first switched to softcsa.
