Skybox and Openbox both not working, but work in someone elses house.

Ive got a Skybox F5 and Openbox V5s both have worked fine for a year now, both come off totally different satellite dishes but the same router, one is hard wired (Skybox) and one is connected by power plugs (Openbox).
all firmware, channel lists are up to date.

Since Sunday when I switch on both boxes I get a scrambled sign constantly and the box informs me that my line is 'offline' , so checked line with supplier and he sent test line which behaved the same, took boxes to friends house and they worked absolutely fine, tried both dishes on sky receiver and they are fine, changed ethernet cable, changed router, but cannot get them to work again,

Every so often when I switch on the boxes work (about 1 in 30 times) but as soon as I switch off and back on again they say scrambled.

does anyone have any ideas how to solve this please?
 
try re-flashing the boxes to a older firmware once you are happy they are working upgrade the firmware again.
 
Hi Guys, Thanks for the suggestions but I've done both those suggestions but no luck, I thought it as the router as it works fine in my friends house but even with a new router they are still playing up.
 
these boxes don't like you changing the ip address. I think you will have to flash it with a null modem cable.
