What's the best unzipping program's?

I think any unzipping program will be OK, but I have always used a free program called IZArc.

You might find that Windows has a built-in unzipping program. I know that Vista Home Premium & Windows 7 have them.

Before downloading an unzipping program, try double clicking the zipped file & see what happens.

I have tried everything would it b wise deleting current channel list? I is it possible I got a bad box?

Menu/Edit Channel/Delete all/Yes/Exit
then reboot box (you should have absolutely no channels now)
Stick in your usb with new TP_Prog.dbs
Menu/Tools/Upgrade by USB/Upgrade Mode select Misc files then down arrow on remote to
Select and upgrade, box will pop up "Add files to upgrade" select TP_Prog.dbs and hit the green button on your remote so it has a tick then hit the yellow button to upgrade..then just let it flash the new list.
Reboot box...should be done *fingers crossed*

I think that's right, I'm doing this by memory lol

are you sure dsayers? I've never put a zipped file on a usb always had to extract/unzip it - same if I'm putting a channel list on a skybox using the LAN tool.

I downloaded from ajs site so it's not comprest because when I did f/w updates from skybox.cc I downloaded unzip tool and it gave me a virus. could you recommend a download for unzip rar thanks

I'm not sure about the unzip tool you got from skybox.cc as I've never downloaded anything from there. Either I get channel lists from here or another forum. The LAN tool I'm talking about is to send files (channel list or c-line/n-line or firmware) over network to skybox rather than via USB drive.
To unzip/unrar I use 7-zip, others use winzip or winrar but 7-zip is free.

Hey guys,just updated channel list and worked fine for me.the only thing I could not work out is when I tried to update channel list on a second skybox it kept saying "upgrade none". Does anyone know why this is or maybe your only allowed one download per account.any suggestions appreciated.

Hi Guys,
I have downloaded statv5 latest channel list but when I insert the usb into my skybox f6, the box doesn't find any thing.

The channel list is showing as TP_Prog.dbs with a size of 1,048,576 and file type DBS when I open the usb on my computer but the skybox f6 won't update.

Any ideas as I am new to all this. Thanks

Make sure USB is inserted properly, if you are using a different USB stick then the one you used to update the first box make sure have unzipped the channel list or even change USB sticks. Once downloaded you can use list on many boxes as you want.
